  26.     The advanced image browser and viewer application. 
  27.     Built to run best on Windows NT, Windows 2000 and also on Windows 95/98.
  28.     Featuring a multithreaded image processing engine to enable you to 
  29.     browse thousands of images easily.
  30.     With multiple viewing mode, image browsing and management 
  31.     becomes an entertaining experience without the hassles.

  33. 2. System Requirements
  34. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  35.     <> Windows NT4/2000 or Windows 95/98 - Latest Service Packs recommended.
  36.     <> Pentium 100 or better processor
  37.     <> 32 Mb of RAM (64 Mb for NT/2000) or more
  38.     <> 8 Mb of disk space for the application 
  39.        + space for the cache storage, depending on the 
  40.        number of folders and images in the system.
  41.     <> SVGA with at least 64k/hicolor.

  44. 3. Installation
  45. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
  46.     If you have the single install file Antares7.zip :
  47.         Simply unzip the install file and run Setup.exe.
  48.  
  49.     If you have the single install file Antares7.exe :
  50.         Simply Run the install program Antares7.exe.
  51.  
  52.     If you have downloaded the 3 zip file version:
  53.         1. Please download all three files into a same directory on your PC.
  54.         2. Extract each file to a directory of your choice. For example to c:\temp
  55.         3. Please feel free to take some time to read the 
  56.            Readme.txt file for the latest information about the software
  57.         4. Find the file named Setup.exe in the directory you select in step 2.
  58.         5. Run the SETUP.EXE file by double clicking the icon 
  59.            of that file. Setup should begin the installation process at that time.
  60.         6. Follow the setup instructions on your screen.
  61.         7. Once the setup process has completed, the icon to 
  62.            start the ANTARES7 application appear on your Start Menu.

  65.     If you are updating a previous version of ANTARES7,
  66.     Simply, Run the install program and choose the same directory where 
  67.     the previous version was installed.
  68.     The older version will be overwrited by the new version.
  69.  
  70.     Note: If you received ANTARES7 on a magazine CD or from some 
  71.     software library, please visit the ANTARES7 home page at 
  72.         http://base2base.virtualave.net, 
  73.     to ensure you have the newest version.

  79.     ANTARES7 is a shareware program. This means:

  81.     - All copyrights to ANTARES7 are exclusively owned by the author - 
  82.       Base2Base.

  84.     - Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. 
  85.       Following this test period of 30 days, if you wish to continue 
  86.       to use ANTARES7, you MUST register.

  88.     - Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to 
  89.       use ANTARES7 on one computer
  90.         (i.e. a single CPU) at a time, for any legal purpose. The 
  91.           registered ANTARES7 software may not be rented or leased, but may 
  92.       be permanently transferred, if the person receiving it agrees to 
  93.       the terms of this license. If the software is an update, the 
  94.             transfer must include the update and all previous versions.

  96.     - The ANTARES7 unregistered shareware version may be freely distributed, 
  97.       provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or 
  98.           company may charge a fee for the distribution of ANTARES7 without 
  99.           written permission from the copyright holder.

  101.     - ANTARES7 IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED

  133.       as possible to allow duplication of the problem: place of error, 
  134.       sequence of your actions, etc.
  135.     - Files causing problems may be submitted in one of two ways:
  136.       * by e-mail attachment, but only if less than 1MB in size
  137.         all files must be compressed in .zip format.

  139.     Note: before requesting technical support, please ensure that you 
  140.     are using the latest version of ANTARES7 available from
